Smartboards and their Flexibility

Smart classrooms now equipped with various digital technologies, including interactive whiteboards, document cameras, interactive panels and projectors etc. Interactive whiteboards with advance features are known as smartboards as they turn computer and projector into a powerful presentation tool for education, meeting and conferences presentation. With a computer image projected onto the board simply tap on its large touch-sensitive surface to access and control any application. Smartboard are transforming classrooms into dynamic and welcoming environments where students have the freedom to learn to think and express their ideas in this age of modern technology.

These interactive boards can be connected directly to a computer / laptop and projection system functions as a digital whiteboard where we all write or highlight the information using a finger.


You can also check all computer functions of the board and no need to stand near the computer during the presentation, teaching or something to work with students. In addition one can choose a number of colors to present information and no limits on the colors of the markers to have one.

The Smartboard has touch sensors that make use of user input. This includes as a right-click same as normal PC input devices like a mouse or keyboard. The Smart Board usually comes with four pens, which use digital ink marker, and replace the traditional blackboard. Most of Smartboard records a single touch at a time. Some double-sided Smart Board accepts two keys at once. These whiteboard accepts two simultaneous touches.

Smart interactive board can also be used in non-designed but for use with this projector is built for interactive Smart Classroom. We can use a whiteboard mode planned to have three main components:
